- A very complex stormy sky with many, superimposed cloud layers. Background anvils are overlain by three levels of Altocumulus strips and patches, some of them turretting (Castellanus). The diagonal strip at centre is different from the cloud behind it (below the white hole) and also from the dark strip lower left. Distant TCu and Cb have showers below them but their tops are obscured.
