- A distant mountain range is influencing the flow and resulting clouds. Near it are a few Cumulus clouds. Closer by, the unusual twisted cloud band is a wave cloud in the first lee wave crest, likely very high Altocumulus (but maybe Cirrocumulus). It’s possible that the dark cloud at top is an even higher version of this. Above everything is a yellow Cirrus streak.
