- A desert haboob or dust storm accompanies an outflow boundary
- W032246Z
- A desert haboob or dust storm accompanies an outflow boundary which has moved far away from its origins in a distant, now-dying thunderstorm. It has no low clouds with it in the dry air but is fully visible from the dust it has swept up. The area is experiencing some large-scale lift, so a higher cloud layer is thickening slowly as the warmer air is displaced upward.
