- A squall line is weakening as buoyancy decreases in the evening air
- W022417Z
- A squall line to the east is weakening and slowing down. Updrafts continue to propagate to the south by adding new cells at the end of the line, but each one is weaker and smaller as buoyancy decreases in the cooler evening air. The anvils at left, though older, are reminders of a much stronger period earlier in the system's life.
