- Cirrus cloud fallstreaks bend far backwards as they fall
- W003593P
- Cirrus cloud fallstreaks race through a carefree sky. A large change in wind speed below the upper tips of these streaks causes the ice-crystal trails to bend far backwards as they fall into a lagging, lighter flow. These resemble mares’ tails Cirrus but are on a much smaller scale and isolated.
