- Confusing cloud forms and types: Altocumulus mimics Cumulus
- W012317Z
- Confusing cloud forms and types. The telltale difference between this cloud form and a typical sky filled with small Cumulus clouds in dry air is in the arrangement. All elements are neatly and uniformly distributed and there are too many of them. Also, there is a distinct absence of flat bases. These ragged clouds are a form of Altocumulus Floccus that mimics Cumulus very convincingly.
