- Storm becomes severe supercell. An arc of low cloud separates warmer air from outflow along a squall line. On its left side is a very wide, black base where a strong, new forward flank storm is building quickly. That location is where inflow winds from the southeast directly meet the outflow from the line, forcing air to rise in great quantities. A supercell is being born: see W021794Z.
