- A distant storm cloud has exploded to the east at sunset. It is probably a supercell storm type since it formed very quickly and has a sharp anvil pushing out from a column of rising air on its right end. The anvil is also solid and uniform, suggesting a large volume of air in its powerful updrafts arrived at the tropopause at once.
