- Cloud lines and winds around storms: inflow and outflow
- W020345S
- Cloud lines and winds around storms. Heavy rain falls at right but the clouds at left follow three separate paths and purposes. The dark curved base above the horizon is a distant gust front pushing south (left) away from the far side of this storm. Above it is the main updraft base feeding warm air into the storm. At top left is an inflow band or feeder line channelling low-level winds toward the inflow.
