- Cool air forms a cloud line. Far from its source in a distant thundershower, a slow-moving and shallow flow of outflow air is sliding by. The leading edge of the cool breeze gust front was clear until recently, when an innocent looking straight cloud roll appeared along it. It may evaporate again, or may begin to turret and build into something larger if conditions are favorable for convection.
