- The large, rotating mesocyclone of a supercell storm
- W010155Z
- The large, rotating mesocyclone of a supercell storm is rimmed by a wedge-shaped low cloud very similar in appearance to some shelf clouds. It is technically not a wall cloud because the entire updraft base is involved, but can be considered a lowering of the whole inflow base under the storm's main updraft.
