- Large-scale outflow boundary clouds
- W951234S
- A large-scale westward moving outflow boundary from earlier convection is beginning to convect in the distance, where the cooler air encounters a surface wind-shift line and clear skies. Cumulus Congestus clouds are growing above the dark baseline but are hidden by the Stratocumulus sheet. Where air rises the base is smooth, but it remains crinkly elsewhere. In this west view, the overall convergence in the flow is evident in the cloud lines all meeting at the baseline in the distance.
