- Mountains upslope flow rises into a distant storm cloud
- W010773S
- Mountains have spawned a distant Cumulonimbus cloud. Upslope flow toward the storm cloud rises and condenses as separate towers that build on its backside. These separate updraft pulses can be seen in the anvil structure as distinct wings. Note the leading, evaporating Cirrus plume which was a separate tower that froze and died before the storm got going.
