- Cloud types, TCu: the sky erupts in Congestus clouds as cap breaks
- W010730Z
- Cloud types, TCu: a clear sky erupts in a long line of Cumulus Congestus clouds as the cap (inversion) breaks from afternoon heating and surface convergence along a weak cold front. Initially, the towers are roughly the same size since they all responded to the same conditions and convective temperature necessary for updrafts. But with time, fewer but larger cells will emerge.
