- What clouds imply about a weather situation: straight cloud bank

- What clouds imply about a weather situation. A long cloud bank crosses the view and looks like the flanking line to a storm at right. But the line is unusually straight and in front of and detached from the anvils. As well, towers are merged rather than separate along the axis. All this implies a moving boundary (in this case a cold front) driven by a wind shift and not any local storm effect.
