- Flow of air around a storm cloud as separate cells form and rain
- W952592Z
- Flow of air around a storm cloud. Air rises to form many separate cells and showers along a dark baseline to the northwest. The linear boundary separates cool outflow at the back from a steady southeast wind into the system. On approach to the nearly stationary boundary, inflow has nowhere to go but up and along the base. The clouds above reflect this flow in the lines pointing toward the storm.
