- Downburst winds with rain foot and lightning inside rain shafts
- L033551Z
- Downburst winds with lightning inside rain shafts. A deluge of heavy rain initiates a downburst that cascades down mountain slopes. Lightning and twilight render it a ghostly lavender-white color. The rain edges are curved outward (rain foot) by strong winds that spread away from the downdrafts which accompany the rain. The heaviest rain shafts are dark since they block more of the light from within the storm.
