- Overview of two vortices under a dark storm
- W931038S
- Overview of two vortices under the relatively high base of a storm. At right is a typical tornado but without a visible funnel. At left, a weaker gustnado spins dirt up but the rotating column does not extend up to the cloud base. A gustnado can be considered a weak tornado since some do reach cloud base, but the tornado definition is too ambiguous to be sure.
