- Aerial view of a Pileus capped top of Cumulonimbus storm cloud. The darker, fuzzy cloud at bottom is an old, frozen anvil wing. Just above this are several strips of high unfrozen Cirrocumulus clouds well above the freezing level (composed of supercooled water droplets). They sometimes surround the tops of storms as Velum.
