- Tornado in the rope stage with a stretched vortex
- W891215W
- Tornado sequence, 21 of 24. This tornado is now in the last stage of development, the rope stage, in which the stretched vortex has become very thin but reaches almost to the ground, possibly from slightly moister air drawn into the circulation. The debris whirl is less compact or controlled now, suggesting weaker wind speeds.
