- A very large, oblong hailstone on a centimeter scale. The giant stone was over 3 inches (7 cm) in diameter on the long side. It is also flat, with a width near one inch (2.5 cm) exposing its accretion features like a cross-section view. A large clear ice region encircles a frosted inner ring.
