- Air motion cycle in a severe storm cloud, seen from the back side
- W013249Z
- Air motion cycle in a severe storm cloud. The circle is complete looking east toward a severe storm. Descending air from hail and rain at left moves toward the low updraft base at right where it meets warmer inflow from the south. The rising air then spreads forward aloft to create more precipitation. Compare this backside with the forward side in W013219Z and the view from the south in W013278Z.
